Waterfalls have a special attraction for me as a nature photographer.
The ability to take a slow exposure brings a waterfall picture to life that no other type of nature photography can do in my eyes.
I have set and studied and meditated for hours at the base of some of the waterfalls in these pictures as I envision my next vantage point for a beautiful capture.
The sounds of the rushing water and the serenity that surrounds the area is a splendor and magic to my soul that only nature can provide.
Waterfall 6 miles in on Seneca Creek trail, West Virginia
Waterfall near Holly River, West Virginia

Camp Creek Waterfall, West Virginia
Elakala Waterfalls in the Spring, West Virginia

65 Feet High Waterfall at the falls of hills creek, West Virginia
This last waterfall is really amazing.
I have stood at the top and looked over the edge and I have stood at the very bottom looking up.
You reall have to see these in person to understand the magnitude and the awe that they provide.
The surrounding forest and mountains give a peace that can only be found here.
