I would love eatting exotic food and being in a warm climate for a week!
It sounds like a little piece of heaven. I might even try snorkeling!
I love the idea of being spoiled at a resort in Cancun (no kids -thank you) and Richard would love the beachfront location. I can see us having breakfast in the morning overlooking the ocean and watching the seagulls and boats.
A week in Cancun, taking in all the sights, excursions and trips - oh ya, count me in.
The hotel description sounds ideal for me.....wonderful amenities as far as room service and restaurants, pool and nearby sites to visit if I feel so inclined. Of course, I'd love to take my husband and son, but if I could only take one, it would be my teen son as he'd appreciate the trip much more than my husband who hates the beach and not as big a fan of Mexican cuisine as my son and I. I think my teen would love the experience not only of visiting Mexico, but the siteseeing (and beach bunnies) would make it most memorable for him.
I love the beach, I'd live there if I could, and have always dreamed of taking a vacation to somewhere exotic like Cancun. I'm not sure if it's really considered exotic, but to me it would be!! :o) Here in Pueblo, CO the only "beach" we have is a man made area that they made. They get the water from the Arkansas (gross) river. Not too exotic here!
My husband and I went to Cancun and stayed at and all-inclusive resort for a week for our honeymoon in February 2001. There were lots of things to do and we had two things that were included in the package. We bought one more. We had a fabulous time, and I would LOVE to go back to Mexico. On one of the trips that was part of the package, we actually left the hotel district and traveled to Chichen Itza (Mayan ruins) and had real Mexican food instead of Americanized Mexican food. It was so good. I really, really want to go back.
Katie Scarlett O.. Congratulations!
