I've always wanted to go to Hawaii! My sister was in Hawaii when I found out I was pregnant with my first child! Since we didn't know the sex of the baby, she bought a boy outfit and a girl outfit while she was there and brought me home a piece of Hawaii for my baby! :) turns out I got to use BOTH outfits!

Never been and since my husband doesn't want to go there (he doesn't like that it's just one big volcano) I probably never will.

This is the island where I live.

Katie, please tell him that the island is NOT just one big volcano.....we were formed by 5 volcanoes! LOL - The Kohala Range is extint; Mauna Kea has been dormant for hundreds of thousands of years; Mauna Loa was las active in 1984; Hualalai is dormant but not as old as the others, so who knows?; Kilauea has been active and still adding land to the island with a constant spewing of lava since 1983!

As far as I'm concerned....it is the most fascinating place on the face of the earth....and I pinch myself daily to just think I LIVE here!

Go to the Hilton on the western part of Hawaii and get a reservation (and pay a lot of money) to swim with the Dolphins! It's a wonderful experience. If you can't pay, you can at least go and see them.

Rachel, we enjoy going over there for the day and just look at the dolphins...lots to do and see at that hotel and you need not stay there to enjoy many of the amenities...
