For instance, I got to sit in the Speaker of the House's chair. We got VIP access tours to the White House and the House of Representatives. I got to meet several congressmen/women. It was by far the coolest trip I've ever been on.
Fenuil hall was amazing and I loved the shopping. We walked the freedom trail and a friend took us to a great seafood restaurant by the harbour. The best lobster I ever had!
I have always wanted to go back there.
1) USS Constitution - a restoration of the original warship commissioned back in the late 1700s
2) Might not be considered "historical" by some, but Fenway Park is a great destination for baseball fans or even casual fans of cultural history. Even if the Red Sox aren't playing, you can get a walking tour of the stadium for just a few dollars. They even let you walk on the warning track.
Congratulations to Princess Spanky Pants (The Real, Original, Heather T). She was drawn for the 50 Gather Points!
