It's almost summer time, which means that many of you are starting to plan a vacation with your family, friends, or a loved one. Where are you planning to go? Have you considered going on a cruise? If you're like me and want to stay busy, this is a great vacation for you. There's plenty of activities and games, delicious food and drinks, sports and fitness (to work off the food), shopping, as well as nightclubs and other hot spots.
I would love to plan a trip to Greece to lay on the beaches, learn about the history, and of course, to try out the local food.
If you could cruise off to anywhere in the world, where would you go? Would it be a romantic vacation, a getaway with friends, or a trip with the family? What activities would you want to take part in?

I can't wait. We need to get away. We are Diamond plus with RCL. I would love to go to Tuscany and dock anywhere near there.

I would be living la dolce vita no matter where I cruised to as long as I was going to a warm place!
But when would I get to practice the piano,if I don't practice everyday I lose ground gained.
Princess also offers longer Panama Canal cruises from as far north as San Fransisco to Ft Lauderdale. There are also partial tansits from Ft Lauderdale that go into the canal as far as Gatun Lake and turn around.
I also read about an economical kind of cruise--where you hitch a ride on a container ship. It sounds quiet and sort of exciting--a nice way to finish that novel.... Again, does anyone know about these?
Not interested in being cooped on a boat with a bunch of old farts!
The time in port is too limited to really visit anywhere and the rates
for their excursions are outrageously expensive. I would rather fly
somewhere and have time to mingle with the locals!
That would be awesome. Of course I would not have a job upon my return.
And I would hope the slots are good to me so I can afford it.
I would like to see RCCL stopping in Riga, Latvia as my parents came from Latvia and that way I could visit Riga and even shoot over to Liepaja to see where my dad lived.
But I have to wait until RC starts to visit this country.
