The book was a good read once you start this it will be hard to put down. It grabs you right quick and doesn't let go. The topic is timely, controversial, well researched and well written. You will continue to think about the characters in this book long after the last page is read.
It is about a family of five - a couple with 3 children, 2 teen girls and one boy. One of the girls has a terminal illness and the book addresses how each person in the family is dealing with this crisis in their life, and how the choices that they individually make affect each other.

I love this author but haven't read this one yet. Was thinking of buying the book but the movie looks good too.
This was the first book by Jodi Picoult that I read and I loved it. I didn't know it was going to be a movie. Neato! Hope it's better than when they made her "The Tenth Circle" into a made for tv movie.
All her books pull at the heart strings. If I see this bringing a big ol' box of puffs with me.
