The Black Dahlia Movie Drawing Contest Official Rules and Regulations

No purchase or contribution is necessary. Making a purchase or contribution will not increase your chances of winning the drawing. One drawing entry per person regardless of number of replies within "The Black Dahlia Movie Drawing" discussion. Multiple registrations/entries and textless replies for purposes of entering,  if discovered, will be disqualified.

You must comply with Gather Terms of Service. By registering for Gather, joining the The Black Dahlia Group, and posting your comment to the "The Black Dahlia Movie Drawing" discussion between 12:01 AM ET September 12, 2006 and 11:59 p.m. ET September 26, 2006 you are automatically entered into the random drawing.

Eligibility:

Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of Gather Inc. ("Sponsor"), American Public Media Group, Minnesota Public Radio, and Universal Pictures or persons living in the same household are ineligible to participate. The drawing is open to any United States resident age 18 or older. Void where prohibited by law.

Prize:
The day of September 27, 2006 ten winners will be randomly drawn from the respondents on the  "Black Dahlia Movie Drawing" discussion. The winners will receive one gift bag with various The Black Dahlia promotional items including, but not limited to, a hat, t-shirt, poster, and a book. The ARV is $50.00 U.S. and will be shipped to the winner via the United States Post Office.

Notification of winner:
Winner will be drawn on September 27, 2006. Winner will be notified by message via the Gather messaging system. Once eligibility is confirmed, winner will provide a mailing address for prize and will be announced. If Gather, Inc is unable to reach the winner or the winner is unable to accept the prize within 30 days, the unawarded prize will go to a randomly drawn first back-up and subsequent backups thereof until the prize is awarded. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of individuals participating.

General:
Participants agree to the Official Rules, and that Gather, Minnesota Public Radio, American Public Radio Media Group, and Universal Pictures and related organizations, and their agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the drawing. Participants also agree to grant Gather, Inc and Universal Pictures the right to use their reply content, name, image, or other likeness without further compensation for advertising, fundraising or promotional purposes. Taxes and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. All entries may be read on the air or republished in print or electronic form. Entrants agree that their Gather usernames may be used in association with their submissions. Entrants warrant that their submissions are their own original writings.

Restrictions:
By participating in the contest, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the drawing coordinator. Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
