I am in my 31st week of pregnancy, and the baby has been extremely active for the last couple of months. I know this is to be expected at this stage, but I can't help thinking: What does she want? Sometimes I could tell (or I think I could tell) that she was hungry. My appetite has been really diminished, and sometimes I forget to eat lunch. She would kick me to remind me it's time to feed her! But other than that, I can't really figure out if there is anything she wants me to do for her, or if she's simply exercising. I wish there is a guide to tell me what those kicks and moves mean, but I know there is not such a thing. Otherwise, it would have been too easy!

Seriously, there is some music, Vivaldi I think, that is said to have a great calming effect on the in utero child.
I also have see my baby's foot while lying flat on my back. My hubby saw it too. My last one would literally stretch his foot against my tummy and I could tickle it and he would draw it back in. LOL! My first one would stretch sideways somehow... I could feel her against both my hips alot. Oh, I love carrying a baby inside of me. It makes it so special just knowing I don't have to share him/her with anyone for a whole 9 months. (And I don't have to feed them every 2 hours, or change diapers, or listen to them cry and wonder why, etc.) Okay, I need to stop or I will be wanting another one, and I am NOT ready quite yet! My youngest is only 8 months old.
P.S. You will post pictures, won't you?
I agree with the others here.. sing to her, talk to her, I played lots of music and Chinese for her. She can hear you in there!
Yeah I can see her from the outside as well. I can watch her for hours! My favorite weekend hobby is to sit on the couch and watch my belly. I bought a digital camcorder and shot a few 5-minute clips of my moving belly, and burnt them on a CD, and sent the CDs to my husband. He already got them and watched the "action movie" and he loved it too!
I don't listen to music enough. I also heard I should.... I should at least try to hum to her more.
