A Washington-based conservative group is notifying Americans when and where their U.S. senators and representative will be holding healthcare town hall meetings this month. TVC executive director Andrea Lafferty says the events are an opportunity for Americans to register genuine concerns, NOT the "manufactured outrage" the White House claims is on display at the town halls. Lafferty believes President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have been surprised by the level of anger being directed toward their policies. People are saying 'no' and they've pushed the president back on his heels" http://www.onenewsnow.com/Politics/Default.aspx?id=634278

Let those who would disrupt (and this is proven by leaked memos, not just asserted) stay home.
This is too important an issue for any faction to hijack. We need thoughtful, truthful information.
If that's what Lafferty believes, he's in for a HUGE disappointment. The President, Pelosi, Reid, et al, know full well that what we've been seeing IS, in fact, "manufactured outrage."
Once again you prove that you are nothing more than a shill for the special interest. Tell me how much are they paying you to repeat the bullshit and the lies of the health industry economic terrorists?
Charles has a great track record. Whatever the issue is, he's on the wrong side of it.
It may surprise you to know I also do not think you are 'the enemy' here.
The enemy is the one who has made us think we are each other's enemies; and that is not the Insurance Companies or the Big Banks or .... whoever the "enemy of the day" is at any given moment in time. :(

Charles, Charles, Charles.
Once again you prove that you are nothing more than a shill for the special interest. Tell me how much are they paying you to repeat the bullshit and the lies of the health industry economic terrorists?
scary!
I . . . the times I've heard the term [messiah] from the right is when someone is describing, or mocking the way some on the left idolize him.
Of course you know that we know that most of you know he isn't really the, or even 'a' messiah, so I'm sure that explanation makes sense to you.
I know the truth doesn't lend itself to snarky humor (for either side) as much as the misrepresentation of it does .. but that's the way it is.
Then again ... there are those who do seem to take the messiah thing a bit more seriously than is advisable or even . . . healthy.
Like these two mmm... actually there are three in the post. But there are two who interact with each other - two who are far from right wing. Check out these three. And take a good look at the two who are talking to each other, if you are interested:

In the first video, a familiar guy talking to others who are, or after the talk become, of the same frame of mind.
In the second video, the one says it ... and the other remarkably, agrees by saying, 'yes...' You'll see what I mean if you are interested in checking out the above page.

Only people on the far edges of the fright wing refer to the president as the Messiah. Progressives don't have that illusion at all. It's what they say because they can't come up with any genuine ideas, and think that being shills for insurance companies is somehow noble.

Palin says health care reform is evil. I say cashing in your chips to go pander for the insurance carriers is evil. As is ignorance.

and buddy - I'm still waiting for that original thought.
That's right I went there - the healthcare leeches have declared war on us by using fear, intimidation, deciet and division.
I am an Army veteran and took an oath to protect our country and it's citizens against all enemies foreign and domestic.
People we are at war - our health and financial well being are in jeopardy against a well organized and well oiled propoganda machine. These Bastards don't care if you're Democrat or Republican - do you honestly think they check your voter registration when denying or dropping your coverage.
The only way to win the battle is for all of us Democrat and Republican to stand united and say no to their lies and yes to a well thought out and PROPER reform
so let's continue debating the facts
did you know that the CEOs of the largest Healthcare companies make on average of 102,000 dollars an HOUR
maybe economic terrorist is a little harsh - how about profiteers:
They gouge our premiums, deny or drop our coverage, use your premiums to fund these artificial turf protests - which block ANY discussion from both sides of the aisle to address concerns with the hope of killing legislation and continue to have us by the short hairs. They produce these bullshit commercials to scare people into voting against their best interest.
So they pit Democrat against republican to rip each other and the country to pieces while they laugh their ass off in their 40 million dollar mansions - paid for by YOUR premiums
so if we're going to protest we should be jamming the boardrooms of these companies demanding a public option, affordable rates, total coverage, end the yearly and lifetime caps and no more denial of coverage or dropping clients when they get sick
