On March 17, groups and individuals across the country opened their homes to watch the premier of Addiction, HBO's groundbreaking documentary series. Nine films are scheduled and parties are continuing throughout the spring.
A partnership of three national nonprofits are organizing house parties around the country to get people talking about alcohol and drug addiction in their community, and the promising new treatments featured in ADDICTION that offer fresh hope for recovery to millions of people. House party hosts will show the film and moderate an informal discussion afterward. Many hosts have invited their state legislators to attend.
