Wood Ants See
(Thursday writing essential)
A stream of wood ants is climbing
and vanishing into the cracks
on the peeling barks of the tree.
The horde of wet clouds is touching
the wings of few kites, sniff the rain.
Coming this way, a winter shower.
There you suddenly see me on
the other side of the Office road.
Stupefied, we extended words.
Both half remember half memoirs,
they have been thinking as long lost.
The picnic at the river bank
and the sprained ankle and shoulder crutch…
The drops of rain obliterate them.
