LIFE FORCE

Sun fuelled brilliance
leaf captured,
transforms into green life juice,
comingles with
nuitriant sustanence
sucked from the dark loamy earth
capilloried upward, magically
fuses into
riots of splendoured hues,
virtual rainbow illuminations
of plant transformation
exploding, and
the busy buzzing bee,
relentlessly drawn,
hones senses in on
the desire of his honey lust,
accidently
triggering sexual completion,
igniting life's energy,
driving the force
of reproduction,
a continuation and continuity
of infinite purpose.

Perry, this reminds me, I recently saw a couple brilliant firefliies out in the yard. They are not supposed to be in this part of the country and especialy not this late in the year, but hey, supposed to bes are getting outdated, it seems.

Strangely sensuous! It encapsulates the life force of nature with beautiful mental images.. We must keep in mind that we humans are part of nature (in the positive sense).

I noticed that this poem was your last post (September 2006). I'd love to read your newer work, if there is any. Cheers.
