I love the bagpipes.....even if they DO represent funerals here in the states. I don't always find them saddening. I love this poem! Beautiful!

An excellent poem of a funeral, Carol. By the way, my favorite instrument is the bagpipe, but I'd guess many would have guessed that.

Bagpipes always sound so mournful to me, as if they are inducing me to cry along with them.
