<h2>The smell of autumn
leaves permeates my
senses. Someone's burning:
The Raking Time is here.
So strongly that
scent I still remember.
It takes me back -
to when autumn leaves
did not last for long,-
but winter snows
prevailed for days
and so did school.
Now they say globle warming
is melting the ice-caps.
Autumn is endlessly long.
Snow will end up as sleet.
Sudden sadness grips my soul.
While my grandson sleeps.
