As an aunt of many little girls I would love to read this book to them. Girls need to learn history too.
Personally, I have just begun writing reviews of books and find writing them to be exciting. Once I read a book, fall in love with it, I can't stop telling people about it!

Both of these books look WONDERFUL and we would be honored to get a copy to read, enjoy and review!
Books and reading are very important in our household and have been since before my children were born. My son will be 7 in March and my daughter will be 4 in less than 2 weeks, and I read to them while I was pregnant with them. Some people thought I was crazy, but for me it was special!
My son has always read to the girls, and as they have gotten older, his obligations to give them what he wants has caused his free time to go down. So Stephanie would love her sister to fill in, it would be something they could do together, and she could still look up to her, and Michelle could feel "grown-"up reading to her. As Michelle gets older, until Stephanie is in "Big School" and has her own friends, losing Michelles full attention as she prepares for High School, thru sitting and having this time together, will keep them close thru both their transitions. Plus give Mom and Dad a break. Ellen B-Grandma at large.
i have a niece that is 1 1/2 and she loves to listen to stories
My husband and I have visted The Mayas and my 12 year old has borrowed our picture/history book that visually and verbally describes the Yucatan. I know he would enjoy both of these books filled with history and facts :)
I love all those quirky historical things that they never wrote about in the 'old days' when I went to school. History is really about people, after all, who are the most fascinating species on the planet. I may not remember a landmark or a cross street, but I find people to be the most fascinating and never forget a face.

I have written other reviews of children;s books and would appreciate an opportunity to review this series.
We would be happy to post a review, from both her perspective and mine.
My kid would really be engaged and interested in thes books because she loves to ask questions about history and other cultures and why the sky is blue.
Thank you for your consideration!
Children need these sort of books if they are written the right way they find learning fun and easy.
