Summer will be here before we know it.  With gas prices continuing to rise, money is tight in many households. If you are like me, you've begun to look for and think about cheaper or free things to do over the summer. Let's help each other out and list our Summer Vacation Money Saving Tips.

Travel close to home, like visit family, the beach, but to make it special, we go like 3 xs per year. Like that we can get there and back on just one tank of gas. Then we go again in the fall, when prices have fallen.

use credit cards with cashback/points for free hotel nights

Establish "marker credit" at many Las Vegas strip hotels, do not spend it. (yes you must be disciplined) Within a few weeks your get free weekday offers to stay at their hotels. You can use them for your family to enjoy the great swimming pools and many, many free surroundings that Las Vegas offers. If you need more information email me.

Another way for free hotels, plus cash offers of $50 to $100 or show tickets is to attend a time share presentation. You have to put up with 3 hours of their sales
pitches. You can also cancel any contract you sign within 3-5 days depending on the state. Been doing this for over 20 years and have saved a fortune on dinner,

We're going to the beach house for two weeks and I'm doing every online thing ya'll point me to in an attempt to save up our spending money!

Go off season, travel during the week not weekends on planes. Try a train ride. Plan events and then look online for coupons and discounts.
just stay home.
