My Thoughts On Obama Becoming the President of the United States of America

I am a little leery of President-elect Obama, simply because he sounds too good to be true!  When he said its time for a change, my first thought was , What Kind of Change" is he offering.   But who knows, we have to give him a chance.

The reason why I am excited about this innaugeration, is that for the first time in American history, a man of color is going to be our president.  I am so excited for the black people, when just 140 years ago they were slaves in the south. Yes, slaves, can you believe it.  Just 50 years ago a black person had to sit in the back of the bus, had to go to bathrooms designated for black people, etc.  We take it for granted now that black people have the same rights like the white person.  The blacks are people just like the whites.  If you would cut them open, you would see the same color organs just like everyone else.  Man has so much hatred in him, its very sad.

But now, a black man , is becoming the president of the USA.  The black person could hold their heads up in pride.  I am very happy for the black person.  Next, we need a woman president, a Jewish president, a president of every color and religion, that's what the USA is all about.  We have indeed grown up!  Long live the USA.
