Beware of the stomach virus

My husband came home yesterday with a stomach virus that would make a grown man cry.  He had a fever with all the symptoms.  He's been sleeping since 4:00 yesterday afternoon.  He can barely hold down water.  Here's hoping I don't get it!  Now, here's hoping you don't get it!

My nephew got it, then my sister in law, who passed it on to her two other daughters, now my brother in law has it. Only one person in their household hasn't gotten it yet.

I would use a lot of precautions. I think a hospital mode would be reasonable. i.e. washing of hands before and after tending to him. Avoid his breath, no kissing or close contact etc. You don't need the bug which from what Ang said is very contagious.

Sorry to hear he's sick, just be careful not to get it too. It's been going around here and both of my parents and I have gotten it. It's not fun!

And as gross as it tastes, rice water as soon as he can to help start keeping water down. Dehydration is worse than the bug sometimes.

OMG, I had it right after Thanksgiving. Was well one day. Then got a horrible head cold that lasted a week.
