My truck is almost paid off!

Just in time for Christmas, I should have my 2005 Toyota Tacoma paid off by the end of the year! I bought it a month before Katrina hit and have put almost 60,000 miles on it. Never had a problem.

With my wife in school full time working on her Master's degree, it is going to help us a lot to get out from under that monthly bill. I'll also be paying it off 7 months early, so we are saving a little bit of money in financing.

How many miles you got on that 84? I loved the body styles on those models. The 4x4's looked awesome. Remember the black one in Back to the Future? It was either an 84 or 85.

I think about 145K+ .... not too bad for the years. Mine is a 4x4 (SR5) and steel grey in color. I did have it re-painted about two years ago or so, the same color as I bought it; less the decals of course that I didn't like anyway.
Pretty much just put gas in it and go.... ;-) I'm a happy camper.

It is a great feeling! I haven't spent too much extra on the truck, other than getting a new set of tires and upgrading the stereo. I plan to keep it at least 2 more years, unless something happens to it or I win the lottery.
