I heard it won't be proposed til after the election for the last thing for Bush to sign on his way out. So, we won't see anything til next year.

I want my share of what the fucking bankers on wall Street got. There was one CEO who the feds gave $19M buyout to - and he was only CEO for three months. Don't give me $200 and think you're stimulating me.

I heard there might be a second stimulus package, bit I thought it got shot down. I sure wouldn't mind a little more in my pocket...since the government can hand out a $700 billion bailout package to big business. That money sure would go a lot further with the little person. I only got $300 the last time because I was declared technically 'disabled' just in time to lose out on the full amount. Maybe, if another gets passed, I can make up for what I got rooked out of the first time...like those of us who are hurting even more don't need the extra help to cut our check in half.

I'll believe it when I see it. I hope it's true because right now we can't even meet expenses, but I certainly can't count on anything from our gov't.

yep, Nancy P. the Speaker of the House is wanting a 2nd Stimulus plan.
we could use the $$. as I know everyone could.
Not sure when/if it may be.

I posted it yesterday. If they decide to try and buy the public into more socialism the public will get a 150 billion carrot consisting of a tax rebate, food stamps and unemployment extention.

Keep them fed and you can pull anything on the common people.

If it's like the last package it won't help the ones who need it the worst. :o(
i.e. A married couple I know who makes about $80,000 a yr. jointly, and have 2 minor children in middle school got $1800.00. Another married couple, with only one income of about $30,000 a yr., with 2 college students at home got $600.00. Now I ask you..... Why did the higher income family need more/deserve more stimulation than the lower income family?? :o\

LOL IF they did give the money to people instead of corporations the world would be so much better off!!!! We would pay off our debts/medical bills/mortgages etc and the economy would thrive as we went out to spend/save whatever was left over!!!!!!
