Also, you can mix a lot of things into your patties to make them jucier- you can try with BBQ, with Steak sauce, and I even had a friend that added the ketchup right into the meat!
I'd just play around with a few different things (mixing in different things, going for different hamburger than you usually buy, things like that) until you get the burger that you want! :)
Good luck!
I would suggest starting on high heat and searing the meat in a non stick pan first, this usually is about 2 minutes for the first side. Then flip the burger, and turn the heat down and cover the burger with cheese and a lid. Cook until desired temperature.
Sarah has better specifics.
I'd suggest you have your butcher grind, or grind the meat yourself - commercial (chain store) hamburger is just too dangerous to fool with. Good Luck!
The last step; call the king and he'll be right over to wolf down two or three of them. I am my own royal food tester! LMAO
Good luck to you though!
I cook mine on the George Foreman because I'm impatient, but you can do it in a pna on the stove or the grill as well. Try a lower heat for a longer period of time.
I use A-1(about a tablespoon for each pound of beef), and parmesan cheese(about a tablespoon per pound). Mix with your hands until everything is just combined, don't overwork it or they'll be tough.
I use 80/20 hamburger, although the 73 kind will work as well. Good luck!
Now I’m dropping by to see ya
