Hurrican Katrina Book Cover Idea

I took some photos this afternoon that I may use for the cover of my Katrina Wedding book. It was just an idea I had to get a wedding photo and make it look like it was in the rubble of a house that had been knocked down. My beachfront apartment was destroyed in the storm.

I also had the idea of getting a cheap frame and maybe busting it up a little, then sticking it in the same woodpile. Another idea I had involved going to the beach and maybe partially burying the frame in the sand.

What do you think? I removed all the color except for the photo, just to make it stand out more.

I was thinking like a simple white frame and then crack the glass and dirty it up a lot. Make it look like it had been under water. Thanks!

have you considerd using an actual photo that was destroyed by the storm? Given the degree of destrucion, I'm sure there are many who could offer one up.

I have lots of photos from the storm, but none of them that summarize the story in a photo. I need something wedding-related in the rubble. I wish I could have found a wedding dress somewhere in the debris, because that would have been perfect.

I also considered getting one of those little plastic bride and groom cake toppers and using it in the wood or on the beach. I need something that implies a wedding and hurricane damage. I don't want to Photoshop something, either.
