A friend of mine died in a car accident Friday. We just found out late last night when my husband's mother called. News sometimes travels slow this far out on the rim of the world. While he wasn't a best pal who I lunched with frequently, he was one of those people who really brought brightness to your life. I'll miss him bitterly and so will man others. The last time I saw him was at his shop and one of his old counseling kids dropped in to talk to him. After Scott walked away she looked at me and said, "That man changed my life." He is someone we should all aspire to be. I wish more people had gone out to support the Folkatorium. It was a wonderful place run by a wonderful man.
