They still build up a friendship, and Kane is as loving as Annabell could ever hope for, but when Mr. Gareth refuses to let Annabell see her younger siblings after going against his word and saving the life of one of the workers, Kane must help her, and comfort her in order to help her gain Mr. Gareth’s trust again. Also, Annabell learns more about Kane than what he’s willing to tell. (Takes place in the 1800’s)

Supernatural hunter, Eve Michael, and her partner Christopher Rinaldi, have faced everything from vampires, to werewolves, to ghosts, to demons. But, there have been strange calls of one mysterious chain of ghost haunting’s that leave the both of them suspicious. They go all over the world to try to figure out what’s the chain to all of these, only to find that one clue leads to another…perhaps with no end. (Takes place in 2006)

The story is kind of a “Romeo and Juliet” thing. When Mina turned six, her parents, who hunted the supernatural, went to destroy a werewolf that had wondered into a town. They didn’t want Mina to know, so told her they had to capture a small elf, and would be done within minutes. Mina waits for them for almost a half-hour, and decides that she can take on an elf. She grabs a net out of the back of the truck, and heads out to find the elf. She enters a mansion, and realizes that it’s not an elf, but a werewolf. The werewolf scratches her across the right side of her chest with his venomous claws, but then abandons her, thinking it wasn’t a challenge.

            Poor Mina was left to die, when a vampire hears her sobs. He is different, and kinder than most vampires, and decides to help her. He sucks the venom out, but when he bites her, gives her some of his venom. This causes her to live, but as a werewolf. She hides for four days, realizing her parents would kill her. Then one night, the werewolf leader, Shahem, comes to our dimension, and takes her with him. They enter the dimension that is fifty miles long and fifty miles wide, and she lives as apprentice for Shahem.

            One day, eleven years later (Mina is seventeen), Daniel’s sister, Molly, senses that there is someone different, and decides to cross the line. (The line is in the middle of the dimension and cannot be crossed by the other side.) Molly gets captured, and is interrogated by Mina. When Mina realizes Molly means no harm, she promises her that she would return her safely back to her side. As she leaves, Molly asks why she is doing these kind things to her. Mina’s reply, “I don’t murder the innocent.” Daniel wakes up on the other side of the line like any other normal day, but his mother tells him that his sister, Molly, was kidnapped. He becomes furious, and is in no mood to go to the line to face the people who did this. He is forced to go anyway.

            Both sides meet at the line, and the negotiation begins. Eventually, Shahem gets tired of it, and orders Mina to kill Molly in front of everyone. Mina, who isn’t a murderer, tries to keep her promise to Molly, and tries to get out of it. Shahem says, “Kill the freak!” Mina replies, “As you wish,” and attacks Shahem instead. She morphs into her wolf figure and scratches at him. While he’s down, she grabs the front of Molly’s shirt, tugs at her to follow, and then takes a deep breathe to cross the line. The vampires attack Mina, and hold her down. Shahem allows the vampires to do whatever with her, and Mina is taken to the vampire’s village. She is locked in a big cell and is all alone and frightened. But, Daniel’s family shows her that there’s nothing to fear, and Daniel and Mina fall in love. The only problem, how can you be in love with someone without crossing the line…? (Takes place in 2007)

Book two of the Strider series. After moving to college, Hannah’s home visits have her overwhelmed when she finds out that her former “club members” have gained some kind of power of their own. She must help them train, fix some broken pieces between her and Danny that she thought were officially shattered, and save them yet again from Natasha and the powers that wish to consume her. What’s a teenager to do… and when will she ever have time for coffee? (Takes place in 2005)

The last of the Strider series. Once they’re ready to go, it’s war:  Strider and the League of Shadows vs. Natasha, Isabelle, and the Yngerames. Hannah must learn to let go of those who love her most, including Danny who doesn’t want to let her go, and fight her past, unless she wants it to overtake her, and become her future… (Takes place in 2006)

Mary, an orphan of 14, is shipped into a Church in France, where there’s a boarding school for her and three other boys. The boys are amazed to find that there’s actually a girl in their place, and all are more than happy to meet her. The only one that catches her eye is Oliver, a 15-year-old boy from Germany. What’s more, 15-year-old Shane and his 13-year-old brother become jealous of their friend Oliver, who has left their friendship to be with Mary, and has taken Mary away from them.

            Two years later, Oliver is mysteriously killed, and Mary grieves over him. As Shane tries to comfort her, she hears a strange noise, like singing, and what’s worse, it sounds a lot like Oliver…

            Now, this superstitious girl must try everything she can to keep Oliver buried for good, and figure out why he won’t stay dead. She also must figure out who the mysterious man who visits once every year is, and why he all of the sudden seems interested with her and Oliver.(Takes place in 1905)
