THE HOPE OF A DREAM

It is center stage,

And life is a play,

We turn the page

For another day:

It’s the game of life,

The one we live;

Sometimes there’s strife,

It’s what life does give;

But, then there’s more,

If we search to find,

It’s deep in the core

Of our heart and mind,

The hope of a dream

That’s been nurtured from youth;

So real it does seem,

That we make it the truth!

When desire is so strong,

Our dreams become true;

Desires of the heart

Are the dreams we pursue.

I came as a poet to express my heart...I found life...I gave life...now I die.
