If you could put three people in history on your cellphone speed dial- who would they be and why.

1- God... because I've got a million questions to ask.
2- Thomas Jefferson... he was brilliant and had a lot to say.
3- John Belushi... I'd call him when I need to be cheered up... funniest ever.
1 - my mom - so I could know who she was, since I was so young when she died that she was just "Mommy," the woman who made homemade pizza and had the cookies coming out of the oven when I got off the bus.
2 - my dad - because he lived long enough that I learned more about him, but not long enough that I will ever believe I got enough time with him.
3 - Dorothy Law Nolte - because in the times when I couldn't get adequate parenting insight from either of my parents, I'd bet she'd make a good third opinion (she wrote "Children Learn What They Live").
2. John F Kennedy Sr.
3. Richard Pryor
I think that all 3 of these people were so interesting. I can't imagine all the things I would learn about life if I had them on my speed dial.
