Yesterday I had the privilege of spending the whole day for the first time with my soon-to-be three month old grandson. What a thrill to have him to myself for the whole day! We wished mommy a good day at work and headed off to surprise my very best friend (and also a grandma) with a visit. She was very surprised too! They became very good friends right from the start. What a great day we had, just watching him, feeding him, doting over him. Another friend joined us, so I felt we were like the 3 Fairy Godmothers in the little childhood story of Sleeping Beauty I remember reading when I was young. My little grandson knows he is loved. Our babies just steal our hearts. But then again, we don't have to let them steal them, because we happily give them away.
