For those of you who have ancestors in the Willie Handcart Company, this is great. Maybe some info on your family. The year 2006 marks the sesquicentennial of the Willie Handcart Company trek to the Great Salt Lake Valley. BYU Studies has produced a day-by-day web chronology of their journey from Liverpool to Salt Lake City, based on research by Paul D. Lyman. Connie, very interesting that you and I should meet.

My g-g-grandfather came across on the Martin Handcart Company. My story for Gather, based on research from my uncle is here:

A lot of similarities in the BYU transcript with what my ancestors have researched, which is not surprising.
