About a year ago I learned how to decorate candles. It is so fun and easy to do. I even took a few orders so we could have extra money for Christmas that year. One of my favorites is one I made with a Fisherman's theme. It has a pier and fish on the front with a place for personalizing it.

I think that my candle decorating skills are increasing with every one that I do. I find all kinds of different things to put on the candle's so that everyone is different and theme appropriate. This is one I made for center pieces for a friend's wedding,

I have even learned how personalize them!
It is so relaxing for me to do and the different designs are what make them unique. I think out of all of the gifts I have given to my friends, these are the ones they enjoy and appreciate the most.
Cause tell me, who doesn't love to give and recieve candles, as gifts.
My article was inspired by Auntie's Jewlery Making Article (sorry couldn't remember the name) and the layout was design was inspired by Carol Roach (Thank you).

If you're going to use candles in the bedroom, don't put them on the nightstand. I know a lady who set a feather pillow on fire that way. hahaha
Great Job.
That could certainly be a rude interruption.
Watching candle flames must be a replacement for watching campfires.
An artistic hobby is very good and even better if you can earn some cash from it.
Did you make your candles using a stamping technique?
thank you
