First-person account of Life With Asperger's

Dear Aspies and Spectrum families,

I just read the most wonderful article in the New Yorker. It was a music critic's account of growing up with, and eventually being diagnosed with, Asperger's. As the wife of one Aspie and parent of two, I found his description of autism's gift/curse both familiar and enlightening. I consider his piece a must-read for everyone who has Asperger's or loves someone who does. The article can be found at:

Thank you for this link -- I have a young son who may have Aspergers. We are going in next week to see a neurologist so I have been seeking out information. So I really appreciated it!

Thank you, Karen. I have a dear friend who has Asperger's, and my eldest son has PDD. My youngest is in the process of being tested. Asperger's of course is very different from PDD. Thanks for this link!
