myFave Five Monday 041309 ~ Guitarists

Welcome members of  myFaves Group  and anyone who happens upon my random list! April is National Guitarists Month  and so today I'll tell you about myFave Fiveguitarists.

1. Earl Klugh, (2009 Grammy Nominee for Best Pop Instrumental Album) Jazz guitarist--my fave album is Midnight in San Juan
2. Chet Atkins, Country guitarist--my fave album is Classics
3. Eliot Fisk, (and he's the cousin of one of my physical therapists) Classical guitarist--my fave album is Bell' Italia
4. The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet Classcal guitatists--my fave album is Best of The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet
5. Jimi Hendrix (have to include the hometown hero - check out the Hendrix memorial near the African Savannah Aviary next time you visit the Woodland Park Zoo) Rock guitarist--my fave album is Electric Ladyland (a 40^th anniversary edition was released last year)
