I have a friend that loves music, most kinds. She just had a baby and I need something new that would do two things. First, calm her down when things get crazy and overwhelming and two, boost her spirits and infuse her with energy when she has none. She is the thinker outside of the box and does not take the beaten path yet she has old fashioned morals and values. Can anyone suggest something that will do the trick? I would need to know the artist name and the album title or song title if you have suggestions to make, or you can always send me link to some free preview.

Hmmm, thats a tough one. I can think of songs for the first one if that will help. The first thing that came to mind was My wish by Rascal Flatts and Life ain't always beautiful by Gary Allen. I am not a fan of country music but those songs have special meaning to me.

One artist that has the incredible talent to soothe, energize, spiritualize or transport you to another time and place is Van Morrison. A lot of his music deals with the actual healing power of music. Some album titles you might check into are:

Magic Time
