Cowry hair falls

Today I taught myself to make cowry hair falls for Tribal Belly Dance costuming. I ended up using macrame' techniques. I took some photos. Next I want to make some with a pirate theme.

I used yarn, sea shells, bone beads and charms, tassels and brass bells. Once I got used to wearing them, I felt so wonderfully exotic.

Very neat! I make yarn hair falls that would also work for belly dancing costuming, but mine tend to be a lot of bright colors and craziness that wouldn't work for everyone. I think yours would fit with multiple styles of belly dancing!
