New Bracelet Design - Czech Barrels w/ Crystals and Ladder Stitch

I have had these Czech glass barrel beads forever, and I finally found a pattern that makes good use of them, in a very nice manner. The grey barrel beads are strung on beading wire with 4 mm Swarovski crystals (Rose Satin, Erinite Satin & Light Sapphire Satin. I love the satin finish, it's very subtle and fileId:3096224744074300;size:full;sophisticated). Very simple and quick to make, yet elegant and slightly reminiscent of the jewelry my grandmother and her friends used to wear.

Bart, you are perceptive as always. The crystals at the end of the barrels are indeed free to move with the wearer. They could be tightened by adding seed beads to either end, but I kind of like movement in my jewelry.

That is absolutely gorgeous! I would be proud to wear a piece of jewelry of like that. Anything that looks "old fashioned" is alright by me. You could make a fortune selling your pieces.

Great idea for the barrel beads! What kind of clasp do you use? Looks like this would work with elastic, too, if you took the sharp edges off the crystals.
