I have had these Czech glass barrel beads forever, and I finally found a pattern that makes good use of them, in a very nice manner. The grey barrel beads are strung on beading wire with 4 mm Swarovski crystals (Rose Satin, Erinite Satin & Light Sapphire Satin. I love the satin finish, it's very subtle and
sophisticated). Very simple and quick to make, yet elegant and slightly reminiscent of the jewelry my grandmother and her friends used to wear.

I really must get a web site up and running. I am such a willing jewelry maker, yet such a lazy marketer!
pretty cool... kinetic to go along with the sparkle!
Bart, you are perceptive as always. The crystals at the end of the barrels are indeed free to move with the wearer. They could be tightened by adding seed beads to either end, but I kind of like movement in my jewelry.
