It’s not going to be easy to break this addiction . EA has made it nearly impossible for me to not get involved with, what we call, the “online community” of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 .
They post new episodes of a series called BattleCast Primetime, in which the developers of the game take on the personae of the most annoying hosts from ESPN’s SportsCenter. Basically, charismatic geeks look at Command & Conquer news (updates, previews, mods) and provide commentary during replays of epic battles that have taken place online. BattleCast Primetime is probably geared towards the middle school student/gleefully unemployed crowd, but I really can’t get enough. Maybe because it’s the only sports show that doesn’t involve sports (insert lazy emoticon).
