My standard disclaimer: If you didn't watch Lost last night, but regularly do, you probably don't want to read this article.
First off, I'm trying to get some verification for something I thought I heard last week (Feb. 14th) at the end of the episode, when they were showing the teaser ad for this week's (Feb. 21st) episode. I am fairly certain that they said something along the lines of "another one of the Oceanic 6 will be revealed." My fiance vaguely thinks he remembers hearing this also, but I can't be 100% sure. I steer away from the Lost spoiler sites, but I usually do get on the Lostpedia after the show to see some of the theories about events of the show. So I might have seen a spoiler on accident.
At any rate, I think we're up to 5 out of 6 now, with the 5th being the baby. Only not the baby I was expecting (and hoping for, since I have this strange affection for Sawyer). So does something happen to Claire so that she can't leave the island with her son? Or does something happen to make her want to stay, but she wants her son to get off the island? Or is she going to be #6, and, if so, where is she? Why isn't she with her baby?
I've heard theories that Locke is going to accidentally kill her and then send Aaron to the beach where there are people who can take care of him. I could see Claire choosing to stay because she still holds out hope for Charlie coming back (me too!), but wanting her son to be raised in the real world. I just don't see her leaving the island and then abandoning her baby.
Also, what is up with the fake story that the Oceanic 6 is telling? Only 8 survivors? That number is also maddening, because then you wonder who the 8 are, and what the explanation for the death of 2 of them is.
Finally, I have a theory about time and the island. It took 31 minutes for the flare or whatever to get from the ship to the island, when, theoretically, it should have been a much shorter time. (The clocks were off by 31 minutes.) Wonder how long it takes things to go the other way? Right now, it's looking like more than 24 hours...

Interesting - enjoy!
Kate could have been lying to Sawyer, that is pretty easy. They both lie a lot.
I do believe that Charlie will come back at some point.
I am not fond of hearing bits and pieces of the same story about the total survivor number being 8 people, either. I would like to find out why there is a cover up, but then again, my theory is that the island is a government testing area for the affects of trauma on victims. A post 911-look at the psychological and sociological impacts of near death experiences.
As for the time changing, .. I have no idea how it works. I am looking forward to seeing what happens to the helicopter!
I don't think Ben counts as one of the "Oceanic Six" and I think that baby, be he Aaron of Claire of Aaron of Kate, also doesn't count.
So we didn't get anywhere with this episode at all.
I think it's Sawyer in the coffin, not Locke as some beleive.
But, oh by the way, I am consistantly Lost on Lost and almost always wrong.
Congrats on being the featured member for !!! ~Striving for 3000~ !!!
Also, do you think that at the time of the flash forward Jack realizes he's Claire's sister and thus Aaron's uncle. Could this have anything to do with him not wanting to see Jack?
What about the warnings given to Claire that she must raise her baby herself? Clearly Kate is raising Aaron instead, so will bad things start happening?
I don't like that the show is showing future scenes this season. I feel like it pigeon hole's the show into having a set path over the next few seasons.
We -know- some people will leave the island, and that the rest won't. Is it because they die? Or because they decide not to leave?
We know that Ben, Aaron, Hurley, Kate, Jack, and Syied (ok, I know I misspelled that..) all get off the island, because they've shown them. That would be all 6 of the Oceanic 6.
Obviously, Claire would have to be one of the other 8, because they would have to explain how Aaron came about. No one is going to believe an unpregnant Kate got pregnant and had her baby, who aged several months, all while on the island.
