Tigger’s Big Adventure with the Tardis
Of course Doctor Who and the Tardis and Daleks are copyright © by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
I married a Doctor Who fan. Not just a fan. A full blown, dyed in the wool, nothing else is out there except Doctor Who fan who thinks no other science fiction compares.
I knew this before I married him.
I was introduced to Doctor Who while we were dating. I had to do the “Watch Doctor Who test.” Luckily I passed!
We actually watched Doctor Who on our honeymoon and my husband actually considered moving to Florida because they had Doctor Who on PBS down there.
Little did I know that our only son would be introduced to Doctor Who at an early age.
I wish I had home videos of Z beaming as he smiled from ear to ear, tapping his tiny heel up and down to the music that begins every episode of Doctor Who but we didn’t have a movie camera back then. He could sing the song too.
Now Z is a full-fledged member of the Doctor Who fan club. He talks Doctor Who. It is his favorite thing to watch. He even loves Daleks. Don’t ask me why. He thinks he is going to invent a Dalek that is nice and friendly that will be his friend and travel with him.
Yes, Z wants to be Doctor Who someday.
Now, the worst part. Our cat has become enammered with all things Doctor Who. HOW did this happen? What could be worse????
Here is the story as it happened.
The Tardis had an unexpected landing.
Unsure what to do, Tigger pretends it isn’t there.
The Tardis has landed and it is mine!
How do you know that in my next regeneration I might not just be a cat?
The Tardis has landed and the Doctor is mine!!!!
Muh hah hah hah!! **evil laugh**
So now what do I do?
Seriously.
I wonder if there is food in there?
If there is, IT IS MINE, ALL MINE!
How much will you give for a slightly used Tardis?
“Doctor Who, where are you?”
“I said Come OUT!!!”
Finally, an identity that Dalek lover will never guess!!

I love the "evil laugh" shot.
I got into "Dr. Who" for a brief time. I thought it was cool. Don't ask me to explain what it was about though because I was smoking a good deal of pot at that time and most of my short term memory was already gone from smoking a lot of pot before that.
BTW, that Tardis looks very flimsy. I don't think it would be able to fly to the end of time.
I guess their going nuts over the new series on sci fi channel!
Nice little article!
Thanks! more
