ECW FAKE Wrestling continues its ratings SLUMP
ECW FAKE Wrestling Fails to acheive Ratings
STARGATE SG-1 re-run nielsen ratings continue to climb higher.
Mark Stern & Bonnie Hammer's decision to put men in spandex speedos arguing at eachother and then play-fighting for an hour on Sci Fi channel, is NOT doing so well.
Originally touted by NBC UNIVERSAL SciFi's questionable management Mark Stern, Sallie Schoneboom & Bonnie Hammer, as a stunt to beg for ratings, spillage from USA network, ECW & wrestling ratings have taken a Dive.
Compared to the competing "RAW" wrestling show, which got a 4.1, where it belongs on USA channel, ECW fake wrestling that these executive masterminds decided belonged on Sci Fi channel, got a rating of only 1.4 on Jan 9th, 2007.
This is lower than Stargate, in fact, lower than 5 year old re-runs of Stargate which fans continue to watch and enjoy.
When ECW got a nielsen rating of 1.5 on Jan 16th, Wrestling publications all over the net had articles entitled "ECW Rating Sinks". (Although, I believe they missed a letter 't' in that last word there.)
As of Mar 30th, ECW's ratings were barely higher despite massive ad pushes by sci fi channel for ECW to tout it, and stunts meant to hype it up & attract viewers to watch the mens bikini acrobat bickering soap opera show.
The show was nearly beat out by all 3 episodes of STARGATE SG-1 that were run earlier the same night, and the SG-1 shows were even re-runs.
