Indianapolis Film Festival and SF

The 2007 Indianapolis Film Festival is coming up at the end of April.

I'm excited that they have a science fiction track!

They two big draws for this scifi track are for fans of Joss Whedon: The Buffy Sing-along (a la Rocky Horror) to the musical episode One More With Feeling, and screenings of both Serenity and Done the Impossible. Serenity is the movie sequel to Joss Whedon's short-lived but excellent-none-the-less tv series Firefly. Done the Impossible is a fan-made documentary about the quest to get that movie made and features interviews with some of the cast as well as other people in the sci-fi business (yay Browncoats!).

My wife and I are going Friday for the Buffy sing-along and the Saturday showings of Serenity and Done the Impossible and the Buffy Sing-along.
