Well, a lot of us have already felt he was egotistical with all the "I" s in Pres Obama's speeches; remember, the "What I"... and "I have".... and "I will"... speeches that were all about him with no substance of action, just a lot of promises.
Guess the French President agrees.... see below
"Jack Kelly from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette told Greta Van Susteren that Sarkozy is furious with President Obama over his Iran speech and naive global disarmament obsession. French President Sarkozy thinks President Obama is incredibly naive and grossly egotistical. Sarkozy is worried about the Western world with such a flawed president leading America. ..."
Sarkozy Says Obama Is Very Naive and Conceited (video)

Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president, came close to mocking his American counterpart for the good intentions, which Mr. Obama had heralded as an "historic" step towards nuclear abolition, even though it set no specific targets or fresh mandates.
"We live in a real world not a virtual world," the Frenchman told the 15-member council. "And the real world expects us to take decisions.
"President Obama dreams of a world without weapons ... but right in front of us two countries are doing the exact opposite.
"Iran since 2005 has flouted five security council resolutions. North Korea has been defying council resolutions since 1993.
"I support the extended hand of the Americans, but what good has proposals for dialogue brought the international community? More uranium enrichment and declarations by the leaders of Iran to wipe a UN member state off the map," he continued, referring to Israel.
The sharp-tongued French leader even implied that Mr. Obama's resolution 1887 had used up valuable diplomatic energy.
"If we have courage to impose sanctions together it will lend viability to our commitment to reduce our own weapons and to making a world without nuke weapons," he said.
Mr. Sarkozy has previously called the US president's disarmament crusade "naïve".

It is sad, but it has been reported that Obama knew about the "secret" Iranian uranium enrichment plant before his appearance at the U.N. and decided to NOT mention it in front of the world.
Continuous Campaign Mode!
You do realize that there are two in question?
Well I think both have approval ratings right around 50%, and usually the new guy on the block gets a pass for awhile. But maybe you're right.
I feel that it is a good thing that Sarkozy thinks President Obama is incredibly naive and grossly egotistical, as those will add to Obama's abilities to negotiate better.
It doesn't matter what color he is, his lack of decision making is deplorable.
When he starts actually making executive decisions on critical matters, perhaps then I will have respect for him. At this point his actions have to prove to me that he is competent.
Your actions prove to me that you have no intellect.
I simply said "he can't make decsions"...
Sarkozy is known for wanting to revitalize the French economy. He has pledged to revive the work ethic, promote new initiatives and fight intolerance.
I think he and President Obama are more alike. I think both are a bit naive and conceited.
You may be right... evidence supports your conjecture.
I appreciate the historical background Norman!
