A quick survey of the top 50 posts on Gather for the past 7 days turns up some interesting, although disturbing statistics. No less than 17 posts out of the top 50 in terms of most discussed (or should that be 'most disgust') are mindless games.
When I say 'mindless' here is what I mean. The most common type of game is the one where the players have to name a word containing a specific letter of the alphabet. These games would only attract those who are not totally illiterate.
Other, less popular games, although still in the top 50 of all Gather posts for the week include games asking players to name boys' names, girls' names, superheroes, politicians, magazines and song titles, all geared to players whose intellect compared to that of a head of lettuce is in serious doubt.
My games, in contrast to the general, run-of-the-mill games are geared more toward those Gather member who are smarter than a head of lettuce. I do not strive for points because I hate points and try to avoid them as much as possible.
Here is my game:
How many different types of human feces are listed in the Bristol Stool Scale and how many can you name? Which of these types are considered to be ideal?
There it is friends. Have fun, and don't forget to wash your hands after playing this game.

I had to learn this in one of my medical classes. I hope I described them well enough that people understand it.
Thanks Thomas!
