When our older children were growing up, we had a big black standard poodle named Bear. One day my young son came to tell me that Bear had had an accident in the house. He said, "Come quick and look, Mom, Bear has colorful poop." Puzzled, I came to see what he meant. Sure enough, the dog had eaten an entire box of crayons!

Lucky none of ours are like that today.
Thanks for the smile.
As the dough rose and expanded, as it will do in a warm place (and it is WARM inside of a dog's belly) the dog let out fart after fart... apparently the best-smelling farts EVER... the smell of yeast and bread. The whole car smelled like a bakery, she said later.
(And, yes, the dog needed emergency surgery but was OK in the end.)
