As we have all been distracted by the rauckus emergence of Sarah Palin onto the forefront of this Presidential election, the Republican National Commitee is hoping to hide what seems to be becoming apparent to increasingly more and more people.
Hey RNC! This is NOT the John McCain we have known!
Did you really think that you could capture John McCain and replace him with a robotic double and think that we would fall for it?
The John McCain I know has been singled out by fellows in the Republican Party for his unique open-mindedness toward Choice. Your Robo-McCain does not even possess this feature. How dumb do they think we are?
The John McCain I know knowingly and heroically gave false testimony while tortured in Hanoi. Your Robo-McCain supported and helped legislate the torture policies of the Bush Administration under the premise that it would render useful information. How dare you think we wouldn't notice that your Robo-McCain didn't know any better?
How dare you think that we would believe it when Robo-McCain staffed his campaign with lobbyists, then proceeded to declare that he would battle said lobbyists or as Robo-McCain labelled them the "STATUS QUO"?!
The real John McCain knows that you can't defeat the enemy when you rely on said enemy to tend to your machinery. That's like playing poker against slight of hand magicians... Monday through Friday! Sometimes weekends!
"OK John, let's discuss how after you're elected you are going to force us to make money against our will."
How dare you think that we would believe that the real John McCain would join forces with the people who ruined his previous bid for the presidency by spreading one of the most blatantly aggregious race-baiting lies ever throughout North Carolina?
The real John McCain doesn't sell out like that, just like he didn't father any illegitemate African-American child from a prostitute as purported by the people presenting Robo-McCain! Bridget is he and Cindy's adopted child from Bangladesh. She is a symbol of compassion and humanity that should be flaunted! Robo-McCain wouldn't even bring her up on stage either out of a programmed sense of Republican shame or that he doesn't want to alienate his supporters that happen to be racist and/or xenophobic.
The real John McCain has a soul, a conscience, and originality. Your Robo-McCain takes his opponents ideas and repackages them like cheap designer knock-offs from China. Did you even bother to check your Robo-McCain strategy for lead?!
The real McCain is a passionate straight-talking Maverick. Your Robo-McCain though impressively close to human has limited inflection and seems to end all his sentences the same way until his logic-board gets too overloaded and he snaps.
Is he being held at a CIA Black Site in Poland? Or Syria perhaps? We should ask Maher Arar if he saw the real John McCain there. The real John McCain would condemn such sites! Your Robo-McCain ignores their existence!

I am a veteran and I served with a Sgt. named "Red Barton". Red was in the Bataan Death March and was a prisoner of the Japanese. He was tortured and had the scars on his face and arms. He would never talk about his experience, he would only say that it was "bad".
John McCain constantly bragged that he was a prisoner of war and used it to try to get votes, it almost made me sick.
He also picked a female running mate just to try and capture the votes that were pledged to Hillary Clinton. The only reason he picked Sarah Palin was to try and win the election, not because she would be a great Vice-President. Shame, Shame on Him!
if this was the true "maverick" John McCain that stood up and was critical of Bush in the past, well it might make this race a bit interesting.
but this robo-McCain only offers more of the same and represents the old guard mentality, I really think the majority of Americans want a change, one that we perhaps might be able to believe in.
