Nope...no wills at all here...Georgia has weird laws on wills, so we'd have to redo it almost every year to make it valid...and it's just too expensive

I should have had one sooner but after a few well publicized cases I do now. But i just didn't check the boxes I wrote my own with very specific requests.

Janet your docs office has living wills as well as your local hospital and that is free

Don't have a living will, we need to get new wills made too. Mother in law was to be the exucator (sp) she died a long time ago.. they would have to dig her up.

Very important. We all saw what happened to the invalid in Florida after her husband wanted her offed so he could re-marry as a catholic.

Very important. I wrote my own but I haven't had it notarized yet and that is a step I should take just in case someone should care to question its authenticity. I had another one that was signed by witnesses but one of them is no longer with us and the other moved a while back. Having the living will notarized eliminates the need for witness to verify that my signature is authentic etc,, in the event anyone should question it.

no one really wants to think about what if you were in a position not be be able to make medical decisions for yourself. And it can be a terrible burden for your loved ones to have to make on your behalf

I don't have one but my husband is aware of how I feel. My sister feels the same way as I do. I don't know though if she has a living will.

I think a living will is vital and I have one that's for sure. Illinois have the documents on the states' website.

I think living wills are a must. They also help your family make decisions they may not otherwise feel comfortable making.

I think it is very important. I have one and I swear anyone that keeps me alive in a vegatative state I will come back and haunt them.

Yes, we have living wills with health care executors listed. It is something no one wants to think about. It makes it easier for those we leave behind to make sure we have living wills as well as an estate will. We have a friend who husband's estate has had to go through probate, because he didn't leave a will. Even though it is their estate, the half that is his doesn't automatically go to her. It more than likely will go to her and his son, but is tied up in the court for a year.

yeah after my first experience in the hospital,, we relize how important thing were, we wrote down what we want, but never took the next step, husband said it expensive, I think we both afraid,,,

Big difference between a "will" and a living will. I need to update my living will(I got married, but I don't know if I want my husband or a friend to delegate--think it may be easier if I have a friend delegate(?)).
I think its very important that I am allowed my last living moments in dignity.
I've never heard that it was "very expensive". Mine was done at a nominal cost about 8-10 years ago.

I don't have one - but I really believe in them (especially a Living Will) Mom had one it really made things simplier for all of us, even though I knew her wishes after going thru Dad. It made for less arguments between us Sisters. Ernie and I really need to have a Will with the Step Kids and Kid thing going on.
