Rove. Miers. Kelley.
The President has two preconditions for letting his people testify to the Grand Jury probing the Justice Department over the firing of US Attorneys being:
- Testimony must be given in privacy behind closed doors.
- They must not be sworn in under oath (wtf!?)
They can testify as long as they are not under oath.

Is that so much to ask? Don't make them take the oath if know they want to protect their friend Attorney General Alberto "Fredo" Gonzales. Don't make them lie under oath. These brave Americans who will lie to protect the good of the country deserve much better than being forced to lie under oath.
I am sure that it is a right afforded to all citizens.
This is not the first time President Bush has asked for this kind of leverage. His first time was when he was asked to testify before the 9/11 Commission. He wanted Dick Cheney to be there with him and he did not want to be under oath.

The only reason that I can think one would rather testify without stating that they will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth is that they do not plan to tell the truth anyway. So help them God.

They were saying that they believe that this could be a pre cursor to an Impeachment, God I hope so.
