This is just too funny.
In Annapolis, MD on January 18th, a bunch of enviro-nuts came out to protest Global Warming, Climate Change, et al. and it snowed on them!

This isn't the first time protests have been staged at events and the weather has defied the signs and chants.

You would think that these folks would realize the sillyness of their protest in this weather. Well, maybe I'm giving them too much credit.

Do you think the term "Get a life" applies to these folks?

Cold regardless.
The cold weather seemed to be following Al Gore around. Truly an amazing man.
There has been an unprescedented cooling trend going on, I have lived here for almost 7 years and I haven't seen it as chilly as it has been this year (except for when I lived up on the mountian) Just yesterday when I got up I had to close the door (to stop the cross draft) I took off my tank top and put a regulat t-shirt on and then donned footy socks to keep my feet warm.
So goes a chilly morning on the Kona coast on the bigisland of Hawaii.

Psalm 93:1
The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty;
the LORD is robed in majesty
and is armed with strength.
The world is firmly established;
it cannot be moved.
When the Titanic hit an iceberg in April, did they blame global warming??
Whether that is going to happen or not can be debated and argued but the fact that there has been warming and that warming is occurring is not really up for debate. It might turn around tomorrow by the actions of nature but it is occurring. I was taught in the 1940s that the world was getting a little warmer every year so this is not some new fangled idea put forth by "liberals" for nefarious purposes!
We, as the generation in power today, do have an obligation to our progeny that we attempt to take the necessary actions that would make their lives more like ours at the least. This is a real responsibility for those with a conscience!
Has man caused this? I have no idea. Can man do anything about it? Again, I have no idea but I do think we've got the responsibility to try, rather than make jokes about it!
Get a life!
Or at least go read authors like Samuel Clements to get an understanding of the art of sarcasm.
The Global Warmists would have us not only "try" as you suggest, but damage our society in the attempt to effect global warming.
That is why we make fun of them.
I just love the courageousness of this anonymous flagger.
Dan E, you are so correct......this global warming scheme is just that. Really, buying carbon credits???? so, where does that money go????? Into the pockets of the schemers,,,,aka Al Gore. Really, how stupid can people really be?
Answer: No, I think they blamed Bush.
I happen to have a life and therefore do not sponsor or perpetrate schemes and conspiracies like you are trying to establish here, even when it flies in the face of the scientific evidence. I know, not every one is in agreement, but the amount of glacier melt in Antarctica is pretty convincing.
I agree with you that I'm not ready to destroy our economy and civilization in the process of fighting what may well be completely out of our control. And, like you, no one has convinced met that this has been caused by man. But for gosh sakes, look at the responsibility we have to the future generations! I'm unwilling to abrogate our responsibilities in that area, are you?
I appreciate and read your comments but they do tend to get quite radical at times. You need to relax a bit and enjoy life without upping the stress level at each opportunity! But go ahead and do it if it makes you feel better and that's what it takes, just keep the comments coming!
