I got two emails today from the same person about my novel

Today, a nice lady emailed me to say her copy of The Joan Crawford Murders arrived in the mail but she wouldn't be able to find time to start reading it until next Friday.  Then a few hours later I got this: 

"I couldn't wait I just read the first chapter! This is hilarious! you are like the king of Joan! LOL LOL she is SO divine. "

 

ha ha - "let me entertain you - let me make you smile" ...

Tracy, When I get Evan's Castle I'll take a picture of myself (with my NEW reading glasses) reading it. I'll post it here. ha ha

(I enjoy reading glasses now - reading fuzzy words was starting to get to be a bit much)

I'd love to see that! But I don't think Evan's Castle is going to be on Borders according to what Kris said -- that they don't have a dist. agreement with Ingram anymore.

Kris said that other list they use takes their titles from Ingram. It sounds stupid to have a list that just takes from a list. Kris is crabby about it because the second list calls his books "LS" books and not "Stone Garden" books.

If I lose patience with Borders.com (easy to do) I'll just send my order without your book and order that from my B&N downtown.

I do not think you will ever find ES at Borders.com. A friend here asked me when she could expect to find EC on the shelves at B&N. I laughed.

If the one list takes from Ingram then it better show up. It would be a scandal if a major bookstore didn't have the new Stone Garden books.

My books are there but who knows when Borders.com changed their system (and WHY WHY WHY).

I bought the glasses at B&N.

LOL, now that's funny. It's very smart of a bookstore to sell reading glasses.

Send your Borders order. EC won't be there, and you should not be deprived of OTHER books!!

Tracy,

At Borders.com, it says

"For an item to be listed on Borders.com, it needs to be listed in with either Books in Print (for books) or All Music Guide (for music & DVD), and also be available for purchase through Baker & Taylor."

So I'm waiting for Baker & Taylor to notice it (that's the one Kris says takes titles from Ingram). They'd better ... I want them to carry Bad Movies when it comes out.

I haven't received the Joan Crawford Murders yet but I got an email the other day that it has been shipped so it should be here soon. Maybe tomorrow. (i hope.) I am really looking forward to reading it.

How cool is that? I want to get your book badly. Waiting on funds. Spent it on a new pc. But you are so fun, I must have it. And many of us idetify with "Mommie Dearest".
