After a very long break from the genre of poetry I've recently found myself immersed in stanzas this summer. I've been devouring collections by Nicole Blackman, Greg Hewett and now Hart Crane. Which poets would you suggest reading and why? I need a fix of new voices!

Right now I'm listening to an audiobook, Frances Mayes reading Under the Tuscan Sun. Yes, I've read it before, and I've even listened to it before but I fired up the iPod to hear it again. She's got that southern accent and a direct voice, and her writing! I find it poetic, in both words and delivery.
For Poets with a capital P I found that litkicks.com is diving into a poetry chapbook publisher's catalog and it holds some promise. Read about Deep Cleveland and enjoy some of the sample excerpts, but if you score some of this poetry please let us know here!
I'll give litkicks.com a whirl and see what they have to offer. Thanks for the tip! I'll let you know if anything finds its way to my library.
I love the way he writes about his adored wife, Jane Kenyon, a poet in her own right, and her passing.
