Some of the liberal wags are trying to paint McCain as just another third term for Bush. The FACT is, McCain and Bush have NEVER been kindred spirits, and McCain denigrates Bush more often than praising him.
While McCain was in favor of the liberation of Iraq, he has mauled the execution of that event as if he never wanted a shot to be fired.
McCain believes in man-made global warming too, whereas Bush poo-poos the idea.
McCain's economic and fiscal policy ideas are at odds with Bush too.
Now the national media is beginning to pick up on these differences and others, putting the test to the lie they've created themselves, that McCain is just another Bush.
Bush is a loser that isn't a conservative, and except for The Greater Middle East Initiative and his USSC justice nominees, I have loathed the man as long as he's been in the public eye. I didn't vote for his daddy either, another closet liberal.
McCain has his own issues, and he certainly isn't just another Bush.

sounds like what the democrats said about bushie 41 and the so called October Surprise *double chuckle* "the charges are serious enough to warrant consideration."
Doesn't matter if the allegations have any substance, they are "serious" charges and therefore had to be investigated, but they ended up finding NOTHING.
They can't really back up the "McCain is Bush" mantra either, but it seems to be obammie's favorite line these days.
By the way, full disclosure, I'm going to be voting for obammie. I can't stand MeeeeeeeCain.
I think comparing him to GWB is apples & oranges. It is just more lib lies to get Obama elected.
"Similarly, the first example of McCain and Bush 'mostly disagreeing' on energy and oil is their alleged differences on drilling. The Times notes that 'Mr. McCain opposes drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, once a top goal for Mr. Bush.' Actually, McCain's position on Alaska drilling has been inconsistent (Extra! 5-6/08); most recently, in 2005, the senator voted to support drilling. Meanwhile, the chart notes that both McCain and Bush support off-shore oil drilling, and 'both support development of more nuclear power.' The chart notes that McCain has voted against taxes on windfall oil profits, which are opposed by Bush, but credits him with breaking with Bush for commenting that he is 'angry at the oil companies.' It also treats McCain's call for 'energy independence' as evidence that he 'mostly disagrees' with Bush on energy policies -- even though 'energy independence' is a standard part of Bush's rhetoric
I found this and agree.
I don't care WHAT the man says. Look at his voting record. Look at the issues where he DIDN'T bother to show up for work and vote (like today, for example, not voting on the survellience bill and the medicare bill).
He can say whatever he wants about how different he is from Bush. His voting record says otherwise.
sure sure sure--- *chuckle* any sources to back up that whopper ??? *G*
he DIDN'T bother to show up for work and vote (like today
Running candidates rarely do, it isn't MeeeeeeeCain alone practicing such things. Did Obammie make it for the votes today ?? *chuckle*
His voting record says otherwise.
And we have your word for this only--- I seriously doubt you can verify that claim.
Republicans are used to factions within their own party, while the moderate/progressive faction clash took the rank and file Democrats by complete suprise. Many are still in denial about the split.
Thanks Tim
Yes, Obama DID make it to the votes. In fact, even Senator Kennedy with his brain tumor made it to the medicare vote *chuckle*
Do you have any idea how much of an idiot you look like making the claim that Obama didn't vote, when it's a matter of public record that he did?
And yes, I can back it up. Anyone that goes to votesmart.org can see McCain's voting record. Again, his voting record is a matter of public record.
I made no such claim sister woman, I have no idea what you are ranting about.
if you think that Bush isn't conservative enough for you, then McCain is much worse
Hardly--- they are both weenie wimpy activists....
seeking "solutions" via government.
I hate to say you are wrong, but I am not seeing this.
Remain blind then dildo breath....
he DIDN'T bother to show up for work and vote (like today
And then you said:
Running candidates rarely do, it isn't MeeeeeeeCain alone practicing such things. Did Obammie make it for the votes today ?? *chuckle*
Does that jog your memory? Or did the cat type that post and you have no idea where it came from?
he voted FOR the very bill he said he would veto as president--- the FISA bill with PROTECTION FOR THE TELECOMS FROM CIVIL PROSECUTION ! ! ! ! !
moron
Whatever, I shall go find an intelligent conversation to join. This one is going in circles.
