Let Me Whine - I Missed the Free Ice Cream

Ok I am a whiner.  Just let me whine...

Today the local Ben & Jerry's ice cream boutique was celebrating their first anniversary.  (It was a new store that opened last year in the shopping center).  They were giving out free cones from noon to 8 PM.  They didn't advertise much, but only had a sign up inside the ice cream boutique.  The only reason we knew about it was because a coworker had taken her sons there this past weekend, and saw the sign inside the store.  She emailed all of us and we were gonna go after work.

I had to stop by Costco to get some more formula for my baby.  So I didn't head there right after work.  After I was done in Costco, I remembered I needed to get some bread and eggs.  Then, after I was done in the grocery store, I completely forgot about the free ice cream offer.

Around 8:55 PM after I got done talking to my husband on the phone, I suddenly remembered.  I was so upset.  Stupid me.  I called my husband back and whined.  He said I should try to hurry and see if I could get the last one.  I told him it was over by 8 PM. 

Oh well.  Ok, I am done. Now I feel better and I can move on.  Thanks for your time if you spent your precious 5 minutes reading this.
